  1. They should not have let him have a pet mouse named Ben and play dress up with Diana Ross….

  2. OK well in MJ’s interview he did with Oprah he says he didn’t have a childhood. He wasn’t allowed to go and play with other kids or do normal stuff kids do as his father made him and his brothers work around the clock. I think he also mentioned some psychical or verbal abuse from his father.

    Because his parents were JWs he never got to celebrate birthdays and Christmas and it wasn’t until later when Elizabeth Taylor gave him a xmas tree.

    I think he had a pretty sad childhood because he really never had a childhood and that’s why he built Neverland and liked to be around kids to reclaim the childhood he never had.

    Sorry this is all I can think of right now. Perhaps you can look up a MJ fan board as I’m sure they could help you with more info. It’s been a long time since I read or heard about him.

Michael Jackson was in the spotlight since the young age of 7, while many children were out playing baseball and doing kid stuff, he was in the recording studio looking out the window wishing he was playing baseball with them. His father picked on him alot. Told him that he was ugly, had a fat nose, and that he obviously didn’t get his looks from the Jackson side of the family. In the song “Childhood” Michael Jackson says that the lack of his childhood was a big factor in his adult life. The reason he enjoys the company of children is because he never had it as a child.
