How difficult is it to be a “good” parent these days?
I don’t consider spoiling your child with every electronic device that comes out as being a good parent, or feeding them junk foods on a daily or even weekly basis.
Being a good parent - are these really two separate issues?
Ive noticed that when we talk about good and bad parents, it’s easy to say that you need to be financially sound, but then it can offend people who are poor that say that they are also good parents and money has nothing to do with this issue.

I took my 7 month old to pedi yesterday for check up. All the sudden, pediatrician is giving me tips on being a good parent, how to wean my baby off of night nursing etc. None of this was necessarily asked for, and I was just wondering…since when did pediatricians become parenting experts? [...]
